1. Corries have designed a flat laser cut slide latch that is secure and easy to use whilst eliminating any large protrusions that could act as a climbing aid or safety hazard. Specification request: Gate slide latches to be totally flat with no handle protrusions. Back to top
2. Corries can shield the padlock in several different ways depending on the level of security required, by using either a 5-sided lock box, cover plates to the face/rear or additional security locks. Specification request: Padlocks to be shielded from cutting. Back to top
3. Corries can fit a range of emergency access ironmongery to single and double leaf gates. When fitting to gates attention has to be paid to security to make sure access cannot be made easily by the use of emergency exit equipment. This can be achieved by using large plates to the gate and slamming post. Attention also needs to be made to where exit equipment fits into the slamming post. Specification request: Gate/s to be fitted with appropriate emergency exit fittings. Back to top
4: Corries are able to fit lockable drop bolts to our single and double leaf gates. Used properly these lockable drop bolts will allow the gates to be locked with a padlock in the open or closed positions. Specification request: Gate/s to have fitted lockable drop bolts. Back to top

6: Corries can manufacture the gates to be side hung. This can allow the gates to open in or out through 90 degrees. Alternatively the gates can be back hung to allow the gates to open in through 180 degrees or they can be face hung to open out through 180 degrees. Most sports fence gates are opened through 180 degrees as this allows the gate to be swung around to the back of the fence. Single gates can be hung on the left or the right. 7: If the gate posts have been correctly fitted the answer should be no. However, over time a gate can drop if swung on consistently causing damage. The majority of this movement can be adjusted if the gates are fitted with suitable adjustable hinges. Specification request: Gate/s to be fitted with adjustable hinges. 8: Corries are able to reverse the top gate hinge and drill the adjustable hinge to prevent easy removal of the hinges. Specification request: To prevent easy removal, the gate posts to have reversed top hinges. Adjustable hinges to be drilled and bolted to prevent easy undoing. Back to top
